Camping & mobile home holidays at les Tropiques, Torreilles Plage

Camping Torreilles Plage is another one of those "blink and you've missed it" little villages which abound throughout France. This one though, is slap bang next, though just a tad in land from the Mediterannean Sea, and just 10 KMs (6 miles or so) east from Perpignan, which is not very far from the French/Spanish border.

People come to the Torreilles area from the UK for their annual camping and mobile home holidays, and they love it!  There is a medieval feel to the village, possibly helped in that regard by the the medieval Catalan church and old village centre.

The beach for Torreilles is roughly 2 KMs away from the village, but it could well be significantly nearer to your camping site, and you will certainly find that the beach here is far less busy or hectic than  some of the larger resorts nearby.
