Camping & mobile home holidays in the south of France
We believe that most people regard the “true” south of France to be the Provence, French Riviera, Cote d’Azur area which extends roughly from the city/town of Hyeres near Toulon and following the Mediterranean coastline right up to the French /Italian border.
Well that’s what we believe most people think but there is another south of France which may be less well known, but which is equally as nice, or even nicer, and certainly easier on the wallet, for any camping holiday.
That of course is the Languedoc-Roussillon region which starts in the southwest at the French/Spanish border and reaches round the Med coastline to meet the Cote d’Azur.
Languedoc is fast becoming as popular as the Provence area, and to be truthful, though camping holidays are the same price in both regions, you get more for your money in the Languedoc where you won’t find the wealthy pop stars and their ilk, which of course, is exactly what has pushed the prices of everything up in the next door region of the Cote d’Azur.
