Camping & mobile home holidays at les Menhirs & La Grande Métairie , Carnac

Details of both campsites are further down the page.

A camping holiday in or around Carnac is a delight and once you are there and get to know your bearings you may find that Carnac, Carnac Plage and la Trinite sur Mer are fairly well joined at the hip, so to speak.

Carnac does have nice beaches and the town is nice and clean with excellent shops, bars and restaurants, so a family camping holiday here will be very enjoyable as there is more than enough in the area to keep most people occupied for quite a while.

Pretty well everyone knows something about Carnac and the fact that is surrounded by Alignments, Menhirs, Megaliths, whatever title you wish to give them, of immense age. There are various theories about why these stones were placed there and by whom but accounts differ greatly and as we were not there at the time we can only guess at the reason.

Camping les Menhirs has many quality facilities which include heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools with waterslides, sauna, jacuzzi and a small gym.
