Camping & mobile home holidays at la Baie and la Plage, La Trinité-sur-Mer, Brittany
Details of the campsites are further down the page
La Trinité sur Mer, originally a small fishing port, lies on the southern Brittany coast, alongside the river Crach nand just a stones’ throw from the famous town of Carnac, and even nearer to Carnac Plage. The beaches around here are superb by the way.
The town is a world famous yachting centre which receives regular visits from some of the most well-known yachts and their skippers, and is renowned for the quality of the boat races organised here, as well as the beauty of the scenery.
Along the quayside there are bars, restaurants and....that special atmosphere only found in sea ports. The old village centre is also well worthy of a visit, with its narrow streets and fishermen's cottages.
Camping sites at La Trinité sur Mer
Camping de la Baie is a well maintained and relaxing family run and family friendly parc. It has a magical setting on a quiet wooded peninsula, beside a sweeping sandy beach backed by dunes and calm shallow waters, ideal for younger children.
There is a comfortable bar and crêperie/restaurant opposite the campsite which serves a superb and varied menu and offers panoramic views across the bay. There is also a small but sheltered swimming pool on-parc with waterchute.
Camping la Plage is the ideal place to get back to nature in a rural setting close to a truly unspoiled beach. La Plage is a most attractive campsite which is neatly divided by trees and hedges and set amidst the well-kept gardens of an old Breton farmhouse.
There is a small but very popular swimming pool with waterslide and is near to a shop, takeaway and bar/restaurant with wonderful views of the nearby sea.
All sorts of activities are organised for children in high summer and older ones can also join in the fun at occasional concerts in the bar. However, it’s the direct access to a sheltered sandy beach that brings so many families with young children back time after time.
