Beg-Meil is situated on the south western coast of Brittany at the outer fringes of the Baie de la Foret and directly opposite its larger neighbour, the famous Brittany fishing port of Concarneau.
Nearby is the city of Quimper which was originally a Roman settlement, but it has retained an amazing amount of history and so is well worth a visit during you camping holiday in the area.
The campsite in Beg-Meil is called L’Atlantique, and both the town and campsite are easily reached by the nearby northern ferry ports of Roscoff, St Malo, Caen or Cherbourg.
L’Atlantique is is 3 kilometres from the small seaside resort of Beg-Meil, with a beautiful setting next to a nature reserve. It is a popular site which boasts an impressive waterpark with slides, overlooked by the bar and terrace. There
is also an indoor pool complex which includes a jacuzzi and spa, offering health and beauty treatments, all of which means fun and relaxation whatever the weather.
There is a children’s play area, which has as one of its features an old fishing boat, is very popular with the kids, and the beach which is white sand is just a few minutes’ walk from the site.
Entertainment is put on during the high season months of July and August which makes this site an ideal camping holiday venue for families and couples of all ages.
