About Valras Plage
The modern and bustling town of Valtras Plage lies roughly 11 miles south of Beziers, the capital city of the Languedoc region, and right on the Mediterranean coast in between the city of Narbonne and Agde.
The hills behind Valras sweep down to form a coastal region of modern resorts, historic towns and golden beaches which make this area of France a paradise for camping holidaymakers.
There is no shortage of good restaurants here, and especially those specialising in fish and shellfish, so healthy eating is definitely on the menu, so to speak.
The town of Valras Plage boasts around 4 KMs of perfect golden beaches which make safe swimming for all ages from small children to adults, and they are also just perfect for sunbathing as well.

About Camping Domaine de la Yole in Valras Plage
Camping Domaine de la Yole is situated outside the town of Valras and 950 metres from the beach. There is a little train running through the campsite which will take you to Valras Plage about 2 miles away. Access to the beach is along a sandy path, a 10-15 minute walk from your pitch or mobile home.
This is a large and very popular campsite, a statement borne out by the fact that customers return here year after year. The site boasts a superb swimming pool complex and excellent sports facilities.
The campsite is lively with regular entertainment in the theatre arena, next to the restaurant that’s highly recommended, or for fun you could try the challenging adventure park, with its tree walking course.
There is a wide range of shops on site and the wine that’s produced in the Domaine de La Yole vineyard is available to buy. The campsite works closely with the vineyard and regular wine tasting and gastronomic events are organised which offer a flavour of the real France.
